Special Mass for Vocations at St. Stephen the Martyr, Omaha
Monday, February 21 at 5:30 p.m.
The Serra Club of West Omaha invites you to join us for a special Mass for Vocations at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 16701 S. Street in Omaha, to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life within the Archdiocese of Omaha.
Mass will be celebrated by Father Ben Boyd, Associate Pastor of St. Stephen’s. After Mass join us for a brief Meeting & Mixer where Father Boyd will share his discernment story to the priesthood, his thoughts on how the laity can encourage vocations, support seminarians, and express love and support for our current priests. Everyone is welcome! Light refreshments and sweets will be provided.

Monday, March 21 at St. Robert Bellarmine in Omaha
The Serra Club of West Omaha invites all the faithful to join us for a special Holy Hour for Priests and Seminarians on Monday, March 21, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific Street in Omaha. Join us in the Narthex at 6:00 p.m. for a Welcome Reception and at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for the Holy Hour. The Presider will be Father Frank Baumert, Sr. Associate Pastor of St. Thomas More and St. Joan of Arc, and Chaplain of the Serra Club of West Omaha. During the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, together we will pray a Rosary for Priests and Seminarians, followed by the Litany for Priests. We will spend time in silent adoration as we pray for all our Priests and Seminarians who are part of the Archdiocese of Omaha.
As our Archdiocese faces a shortage of priests amid a challenging time for our Catholic Church and our culture at-large, now more than ever, we need to support our Priests and Seminarians with fervent and ongoing prayer. Envelope Stuffing, February 23 & 24: Wednesday and Thursday. You will be stuffing our large mailer for our Spring Care-a-thon over the course of two (2) days at the Omaha Station. Stuffing begins at 9:30 a.m. and lasts until the afternoon. Lunch will be provided both days. It’s a lot of fun and a GREAT way to meet people! Plus, who doesn't love Spirit Catholic Radio?!
